The title of this painting is inspired by the lesser known 4th verse of “Lead Kindly Light”:
“Meantime, along the narrow rugged path, Thyself hast trod,
Lead, Savior, lead me home in childlike faith, home to my God.
To rest forever after earthly strife
In the calm light of everlasting life.”
As we hold onto the Savior, we can also reach out and bring others with us.
