The Blessings of Covenants

From LDS.org; used with permission
As we look forward to hearing from Sister Linda Reeves about "Rejoicing on the Covenant Path" next month, we invite you to prepare yourself spiritually.

As Sister Bonnie Oscarson said in this talk at 2015 BYU Women's Conference, covenants are an exchange of love between God and us. Covenants associated with baptism and the temple are evidence of God's love for His children. We honor our covenants with God when we love and serve others.

Click on the link above to read the talk, then consider: What covenants have I made with the Lord? How can I better rejoice in them?

Jesus Christ, Our Risen King of Kings and Lord of Lords

Through trials great and small, as each of us seeks to find the Savior, to love Him and to follow Him, we will find strength in Him. These truths are what inspired George Frideric Handel to compose his magnificent oratorio "Messiah." Its "Hallelujah" chorus is a majestic declaration of testimony and love for the Savior. Christ is risen, and because of Him, we will live again!

Have a blessed Easter!

Hallelujah--An Easter Message about Jesus Christ

Come unto Christ. Follow Him, and have new life.

Because the Savior lives, we all have access to hope, joy, peace, repentance and eternal life as we heed his call to "come, follow me" (Luke 18:22). Hallelujah!

Wishing you a wonderful Easter Holy Week.

You Have Been Prepared for This Day

"Family history ... is a vital part of the work of salvation and exaltation. You have been prepared for this day and to build up the kingdom of God.
You are here upon the earth now to assist in this glorious work." Elder David A. Bednar

Come to the Temple!

"I think there is no place in the world where I feel closer to the Lord than in one of His holy temples." --President Thomas S. Monson

In anticipation of the upcoming dedication of the Ogden Temple, our stake presidency has challenged each of us to do our part in hastening the work by researching our family history and finding names of five ancestors who need their temple work done.

How are you preparing for the temple reopening?
